So I still don't have a prom date, and I have a feeling I'm not going to get one. The one guy I want to go with turned me down on the basis that "prom is a romantic thing, and I'm glad we're friends and I don't want to do anything I'll regret." I can't say I know what that really means besides the fact that he's afraid we're gonna completely screw up our relationship (and maybe his mom still doesn't like me, even though he explained the situation?). I dunno. All I DO know is that I have a gorgeous prom dress and I'm going to have fiber optics in my hair ( I'm not sure if they come with the batteries or not, but I'll find out when I order them, which will be when I have money again.

Anyone out there have a brother/cousin/best friend who's about 17 and has either a very lenient girlfriend (so lenient she'll let him take a total stranger (who happens to be a babe) to her prom), or is single?

So, um, I can't really think of anything else to say, other than I got a whole bunch of movies yesterday: Slither, 10 Things I Hate About You, The Last Unicorn (25th Anniversary Edition), and, um, Barbie and the 12 Dancing Princesses (I LOVE the company who makes the movies, and the music is really good). I also bought Peter Pan last week, and my mother got a Jane Austen DVD box set from BBC (yay British people!). So I left school with no movies other than the ones I brought with me on my Discovery Week and came back with at least 5 new ones (I've probably bought a least one more that I can't remember!).

I also realized that I use parentheses WAYYY to much in my posts, probably because I wrote these entries just like I speak, with a lot of side notes. My english teacher had us write a free thought paper, and I think I used a lot of parentheses. She said I wrote exactly like I spoke.

Now I really HAVE run out of things to day. Night all!
