So I'm sure all you fellow pet owners have heard about the major recall of WET pet foods (cans and foil pouches) distributed by Menu Foods from December 3 to March 6.

If you haven't, here's an article about it: http://www.nbc30.com/news/11282462/detail.html?dl=headlineclick

And here's a link to the Menu Foods website and a page about the recall: http://www.menufoods.com/recall

The food was made with a new kind of wheat germ, and the germ is causing kidney failure in dogs and cats.

My dog was just diagnosed with kidney problems about 2 weeks ago. We give her one pouch of wet Iams dog food (distributed by Menu Foods) a day. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!

If my dog dies because Menu Foods fucked up, there will be hell to pay. Mark. My. Words.

PLEASE CHECK WHAT YOU'RE FEEDING YOUR PETS---THEY COULD BE AT RISK!
The Menu Foods site is listing all the brands that are affected. Check it out.

***EDIT*** SCIENCE DIET has recalled HILL'S CAT FOOD ONLY. Here's a list of the affected types:
